Hello! I have a BFA in Theatrical Design with an emphasis in lighting from Emerson College. Currently, I am based in New York working as a freelance lighting designer.
I grew up in Mansfield Connecticut just a stone’s throw from the University of Connecticut. Some of my first tastes of theatre were there, at the Connecticut Repertory Theatre where I would see shows at a young age. I also spent my youth as a rock climber, master chef (of my parents kitchen), and musician, playing trumpet and drums. Learning to be a musician was one of my first experiences in the entertainment industry and cooking helped me learn to be an artist learning the delicate balances between flavors.
I am very grateful to be in a career where I can be imaginative and love what I do. To me that is the most important thing. The extraordinary people that I have the opportunity of working with only furthers my passion for the theatre.
